KISS Tribute Albums Part Two

Another post, and yet more great music at Still Alive & Well. All is right with the world.
This time out we're proud to bring you a stack of tribute albums dedicated to hailing the self-styled "Hottest Band In The World", KISS.
If you go waaay back in the archives, you'll find the first part of this mega post, this is part 2, and there will be a part 3 to appear here some time in the future. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, tonight we bring you 5 distinctly different albums, one full of US bands, one from Japan, and a trio of compilations from three different online KISS sites, Kiss Army On Line, Kiss Army Sweden and the Kiss Detention Hall. Some of the versions are pretty true to the originals in sound and spirit, others rearrange the songs to the point where you'll find it hard to recognize them. Some favour the classics, some more obscure hard core fan favourites. All are well worth hearing.
So dig in Kiss army foot soldiers, and enjoy this selection.

SCANDO/EURO LPs Pt2 (1983-84)

Hi again people, another selection from my back catalogue of Scandinavian and European Heavy Metal albums from the years 1983 - 1984.
Some big cult names amonst this little lot, including BULLET, OZ and EVIL. There's another from one of my personal favourites, AXE WITCH as well as a trio of lesser known bands, GOTHAM CITY, PROUD and SYRON VANES, all of whom are more than worthy of your attention, and are entirely appropriate to stand shoulder to shoulder here beside their better known Metal brethern.

SCANDO/EURO LPs Pt1 (1981-83)

Hi again, and a Happy New Year to you all.
This time around we'll be delving into the past to dredge up a whole bunch of under appreciated and seldom seen European and Scandinavian albums and Mini LPs, from back in the days when the Cold War was in full swing and unemployment was at it's highest.
The more things change the more they stay the same eh?
The beautiful girl in the Swedish bikini is gratuitous yes, but it does serve notice that the majority of tonight's featured bands came from that very country, with French, Finnish and Danish acts making up the remainder.
So, in the yellow & blue corner, from Sweden, we have GLORY BELLS BAND, AXE WITCH, GOTHAM CITY and BURN. From France, SHAKIN' STREET. From Denmark, ANGER. And from Finland, RIFF RAFF. All of these records were released between 1981 and 1983, a fertile period for Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, i think you'll find plenty to enjoy amongst tonight's selection.
